What Parents Are Saying …
Preston has been playing guitar for over 15 years, and is currently studying Jazz Guitar Performance at the University of Utah. He has always loved music, and after discovering Blues and 60s-70s era Rock, it became a central part of his life. These genres acted as the starting point that led him to an appreciation of a broad spectrum of music. In addition to jazz and blues, he is also proficient in playing rock, metal, funk, and country. He performs regularly with both the University Jazz Small Combos and the band Buried Giant. Always seeking new musical concepts, Preston has pursued learning piano, bass, ukulele, and drums as well. A personal, deep connection with music inspires him to share his experiences with others in a setting that is both enjoyable and challenging.
