Michael has been playing piano since the age of six. During his studies, he has explored multi-genre piano styles from classical, rock, blues, jazz, latin, and metal. Michael has studied music in Texas, Japan, Thailand, and Djibouti and has earned an AAS in Music and Sonic Arts from Portland Community College. Michael is able to teach advanced piano concepts including contemporary western music theory, as well as theories for the aforementioned genres, and guitar.
Mandy completed her bachelor’s degree at Huanggang University. Obtained the piano tenth certificate of Wuhan Conservatory of Music. She has twelve years of teaching experience. She loves to play music! The musical instruments she can play are: piano, flute, she is also a singer that sings frequently with bands. She has been enjoy teaching at Master Keys Music Academy, her students love her outgoing personality and her patience towards students of all ages!
Preston has been playing guitar for over 15 years, and is currently studying Jazz Guitar Performance at the University of Utah. He has always loved music, and after discovering Blues and 60s-70s era Rock, it became a central part of his life. These genres acted as the starting point that led him to an appreciation of a broad spectrum of music. In addition to jazz and blues, he is also proficient in playing rock, metal, funk, and country. He performs regularly with both the University Jazz Small Combos and the band Buried Giant. Always seeking new musical concepts, Preston has pursued learning piano, bass, ukulele, and drums as well. A personal, deep connection with music inspires him to share his experiences with others in a setting that is both enjoyable and challenging.
