Performance Opportunities

At Master Keys Music Academy, we offer twice a year recitals – one in June and another one in December. We also have Royal Conservatory of Music Certification Program, University of Utah Monster Concert series, as well as other competition opportunities for our students who are interested. Yes, we are still providing virtual performance opportunities for our students during Covid-19.

Fun, result-driven lessons

We believe in fun lesson experiences. Each lesson is tailored to help students develop their piano skills based on personal skill level and individual needs. We teach students the correct technique and the importance of interpreting music. We use story telling along with imagination to inspire students to use their own creativity to tell their story of music.

Professional Environment

We are strong believers on using acoustic pianos for each lesson. All our piano lessons are being conducted on either upright or grand pianos. The touch of the instrument tremendously effects how students approach their technic. The pianos are all in like new condition and maintained regularly by professional tuners.

I have extensive experience in teaching classical, jazz, musical theatre, and contemporary styles of singing, as well as beginning and intermediate level piano lessons after receiving a masters degree in Vocal Performance. My aim as a teacher is to inspire others through music and and instill a love for learning new ways to improve musicianship. Beyond the musicianship skills I teach, my goal is to help students achieve a greater sense of independence and confidence through performance and regular practicing. For me, the most rewarding part of teaching is seeing my students’ joy when overcoming obstacles and finding new ways of approaching their artistry. In lessons, my students and I discover individualized ways of achieving goals and learning new repertoire of various styles. Many of my students have performed in various shows and have gone on to study music performance and education at a college level. I love teaching because my students motivate me to be a better musician and to always discover new ways of teaching something I am so passionate about.
